KCME 88.7 FM is an independent public radio station that broadcasts classical music and jazz twenty-four hours a day. Founded in 1977, KCME's studio is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. KCME broadcasts its signal over a wide area from its transmitter high atop Cheyenne Mountain to communities including Canon City/Florence (91.1 FM), Manitou Springs (90.9 FM), Salida/Buena Vista (89.5 FM) and Cripple Creek/Victor (89.5 FM).

KCME's operating revenues are derived from membership drives and from the sale of on-air program sponsorship announcements to community-minded businesses, thus assuring that one hundred percent of its support comes from the communities it serves.
