Program Highlights MemberCard is a consortium of more than 170 stations representing 1.5 million+ members sharing more than 11,000 valuable benefits from the East Coast to the West Coast plus Alaska and Canada. MBI does all the work, signing up local benefits, providing cards and benefit directories customized for the station and all customer service related to members using the card. There are no start-up costs and no minimum order. Simply pay for the cards as they are needed. Stations provide the card at a giving level $10 - $20 higher than the average annual membership gift, causing the average gift to increase as members upgrade for the new benefits. Initially, benefits feature 2-for-1 dining savings. As the program develops, benefits may be added for 2-for-1 savings at performances, museums and attractions, and overnight stays at country inns. Branding Strategies Each station's MemberCard and Directory feature the station's look and messaging to further bond members to the station. MBI will assist clients with fully integrating the program into all aspects of their individual giving programs. With each use of the card, members are reminded of the station. The member's renewal date can be found next to your call letters on the MemberCard. This is particularly important, because unlike the programming or premiums, the only way members keep their benefits is by renewing - year after year - thereby improving member retention. |
