Comedian of the Keyboard, The Unmelancholy Dane — the irrepressible musical humorist Victor Borge is honored Saturday @ 8 p.m.

"My personality is not split; it's shredded," quipped the originator of the late-night talk show format in the '50s and '60s. The former host of The Tonight Show is saluted on Jack Paar: Smart Television @ 9 p.m.

Then @ 10 p.m., roll out the red carpet! Hollywood's Magic Night gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Academy Awards.

Austin City Limits: Michael McDonald and Joss Stone
Thurs. 2/24 @ 11:30 p.m.

Austin City Limits Instead of "Takin' It to the Streets," take in ACL tonight when Michael McDonald of the Doobie Brothers performs in this intimate setting. Then, 17-year-old British-born Joss Stone is impressing both fans and critics with her powerful songs and soulful voice. more »

Battlefield Britain Spanning 2,000 years, this series covers eight key battles fought on and over British soil. It explores who fought, their weapons and tactics, and the effect the battles had on British history. Sites are visited and computer generated-images recreate the conflicts.

Dirty War
Sun. 2/27 @ 9 p.m.

Dirty War What would happen, and how might we react if a dirty bomb was set off in a major city? What should we know about these potential threats? In this dramatization, a scenario plays out in London. Following the film, experts and laypeople discuss the situation.
